(Gossip/History) Bruyce is a lesser scion of House Durendaire, and lived with the family after his parents were killed in Ul'dah. It was said he was close with Count Charlemend when they were boys, but they had a fight after Charlemend's eldest son was lost at sea. Now that their politics are more aligned post-Reformation, things are less fraught, but not less awkward between the two.
